After giving a successful movie ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ on Republic Day, actress Kangana Ranaut is all set to give another hit with her next film ‘Panga’ on another National holiday. In the upcoming film, Kangana will be essaying the role of a Kabbadi player. The actress is paired alongside Jassie Gill in the film. ‘Panga’ is directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and it also stars Richa Chadha and Neena Gupta in important roles.
The makers of the film today released the first look of the film, where Jassie and Kangana are seen sharing a laugh while watching the sunset. The director of the film also took to Instagram to share the latest glimpse from the film. She wrote, “When notes of a story start coming together and translates into human expression. Earlier there were rumors, director Ashwiny had made Kangana sign a ”no interference” clause. Now, Ashwiny slammed the rumors saying, “As directors and actors our happiness is your appreciation. For me, Panga is a story which I wanted to tell. A story very close to my heart and I could see only Kangana bringing life to the character. I request everyone not to be judgemental and together allow me to breathe the air of oneness like the support and love you have given me for my previous films. The news which has been floating around is false and baseless which should not be allowed to grow”.
‘Panga’ is scheduled to hit the theatres on January 24, 2020.
