In December 2016, when Kareena embarked on a new and joyous journey as a mother there was an overwhelming joy in the air surrounding her. Taimur, is already a year old and the internet can never get enough of his cute and naughty antics. His pictures take over like a storm and are showered with millions of likes and comments. He also happens to have his own fan accounts on social media platforms!
In a column for leading Indian newspaper Times of India, Kareena Kapoor talks about how her life has shaped after being a mother and her early days of motherhood.
“For almost every mother, the first days with her new born baby are precious memories to be cherished forever. They are surely some of the most challenging and at the same time fulfilling days we will experience as women,” she writes in the beginning of her column.
“I know I have been fortunate to embark on the journey of parenthood – and I will always remember the first days of my child’s life. I have been lucky.”
“I remember some long days and nights, without much sleep. Some were frustrating, as I tried inexpertly to calm my crying child. Some were simply bliss – as I treasured the new life that I had been able to bring into the world, ” she said.
