The episode starts with Anurag and Komolika driving on the road in their cars. She hits his car which leads him into falling into a river. One month later, everyone in the Basu family is in shell shock. Mohini is desperate to see her son and Prerna is trying to look strong, hoping she gets to see Anurag who has been missing for a month.
The cops have been trying to find him but nothing fruitful has happened. Mohini holds Prerna responsible for Anurag’s accident as because of her, he went outside to get a chunari. One day, Anurag returns home, fit and fine. Everyone cheers in happiness. He tells everyone that he gained his consciousness a day before yesterday.
He was in a hospital for the last month recovering from the accident. Anurag thanks Komolika who was the one who took him to the hospital and took care of him. Komolika arrives at the Basu residence as she had dropped him to the house, leaving everyone in shock. In the next episode, Anurag then gives a wave of shock to the entire family after he tells his mother, Mohini, that he and Komolika got married without her blessings or permission.
