The episode begins with Prerna and Shivani talking about the recent events. Prerna is heartbroken because she’d believed that she’d have Anurag’s child soon. She prays that Anurag’s memory returns soon. Sonalika/Komolika enters her room and is annoyed that Anurag has gone to sleep. She is still angry at Prerna and wants to erase her from their life because without her, Anurag will finally get a chance to move on. She phones Somdutt and tells him to set Prerna’s house on fire.
Prerna and her family are sleeping when they sense flames engulfing the house. They are trapped inside as the fire grows dangerously around them, but with the help of people from the neighborhood they get out safely.
Anupam talks to Anurag outside the house, and tries to force him gently to remember things from his past. He reminds Anurag that he used to come outside and watch the moon. Anurag tries to remember, but only sees flashes without any real memory. At their relatives house, Prerna’s mother, Meena, decides that they will travel to their village and stay there for a while. Prerna is shocked.
Sonalika visits Prerna’s house, which is still burning, and rejoices that her enemy is finally dead. She doesn’t know that Prerna and every member of her family survived the attack. Anurag accidentally sees Mohini grieving about his memory and is very disconcerted.
Tomorrow: Prerna persuades her mother to not travel to their native village and decides to get a job to support her family.
