The recent episode of Kumkum Bhagya begins as Rhea pushes Madhu aside and barges inside Pragya’s house. Rhea confronts Prachi about sending Aliya to jail. Prachi realizes Aliya is the culprit for Disha’s accident and refuses to take back the charges. Rhea becomes aggressive and tells Prachi she’s going to make her suffer for her deeds. Prachi still refuses to her demands, and instead warns if she doesn’t leave, she will slap him. Rhea says Prachi doesn’t understand her pain because Aliya isn’t her blood relative. Prachi doesn’t care, she just reported the crime as she saw it happen.
Sanju and his friend are looking to dine at a restaurant when the waiter who’d been accused of drugging Prachi sees them. He’s angry that Sanju didn’t suffer any consequences for his actions. Rhea phones Abhi, who’s abroad and tells him that Aliya has been taken to the police station. Abhi listens to her sympathetically but he believes Prachi because Aliya has hurt Disha multiple times before. Abhi phones Purab and asks about Disha’s condition. As he’s about to talk about Aliya, his phone battery dies and the call disconnects.
Aliya goes to the police station and misbehaves with the police inspector by saying that they have to release Aliya. She also accuses the inspector of accepting bribery. Aliya stops Rhea from further worsening their situation. The waiter decides to blackmail Sanju for money, or else he will reveal that he drugged Prachi.
