On the professional front, she recently announced her next production venture, the Marathi language comedy film ‘Panchak.’
The film is produced by Madhuri and her husband Shriram Nene under their production house, R & M Moving Pictures.
She had forayed into film production this year with the film ’15 August’ directed by Swapnaneel Jaykar. It was released on the streaming platform Netflix.
On the acting front, Madhuri was last seen in Abhishek Varman’s period drama ‘Kalank’, which met with mixed reviews and was a box-office failure.
Her earlier release of the year was the comedy film ‘Total Dhamaal’ directed by Indra Kumar, which was the third installment in the ‘Dhamaal’ franchise.
The film also starred Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi and Javed Jaffery and met with negative reviews but emerged as a massive financial success.
