India’s four prominent and National Award winning directors are coming together to make a film ‘The Invisible Mask’ (Working title). Mahesh Manjrekar, Pradeep Sarkar, Priyadarshan, and Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury are making an anthology of four short stories.
Each story deals with a different personal or social issue, which will connect to individuals as well as the society at large. It will be released on Over The Top (OTT) or digital platform. The film is still under post-production process and will be released this year.
Mahesh Manjrekar’s film will deal with a person living a secret life, while Pradeep Sarkar is bringing a film based on homosexuality, which was a hot issue in the country a few months ago. Priyadarshan’s story is about dealing with our inner demons. Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s short film revolves around the issue of mental illness.
The film is bankrolled by Venus Worldwide Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and partly financed by Armaan Ventures. Sanchita Chatterjee is the co-producer and Suchhanda Chatterjee is the creative producer of the film.
