Indian period drama film ‘Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi’ is scheduled to release this week in over 50 countries worldwide in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The film will hit theatres on January 25 featuring Kangana Ranaut in the titular role.
Movie critic and trade analyst took to Twitter and with the film’s poster shared the news of its release.

ZEE entertainment organized a special screening for its most anticipated project ‘Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi‘ for President Ram Nath Kovind on 18 January at the Rashtrapati Bhavan’s Cultural Centre.
“It is an honor and a matter of pride that the First Citizen of India will be watching our work before its release,” Shariq Patel, CEO of Zee Studios said. “Rani Lakshmi Bai is a national hero,” says actor Kangana Ranaut, who plays the title role, “Our entire team is looking forward to presenting her story of strength and valor to the most important entity of the Republic of India.”
The official trailer of the film was released on 18 December last year and Kangana’s character impressed the viewers.
The trailer also featured Jishu Sengupta, Suresh Oberoi, Danny Denzongappa, Atul Kulkarni, Ankita Lokhande, Misti, Unnati Davera, Zeeshan Ayub, Rajeev kacharo, Nihar Pandya, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, and Manish Wadhwa along with Kangana.
We all have read or heard about “Jhansi Ki Rani” at some point in your life. The film features the same story more effectively with Kangana Ranaut’s strong performance and best-supporting actors, any film could have.
The film is produced by Zee Studios and Kamal Jain and directed by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi and Kangana Ranaut. Original background music has been given by Sanchit Balhara & Anikt Balhara and other music by the trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
