Actress Nia Sharma has made a name for herself on the television industry with a long and credible list of work.

In a recent interview with The Times of India, Nia talked about several things like her health issues, relationship and being cast as the lead in ‘Naagin 4.’

The actress said how she earlier used to starve herself just to look a certain way but later realised that it was not healthy.

When asked about how she feels being cast in ‘Naagin 4’, Nia said: “I don’t think anything can be better than being part of ‘Naagin’. I have enjoyed my previous work, too, but for the first time, I will be the title character in a television show.”

Nia was recently cast in the lead role in the fourth season of the popular fantasy television serial ‘Naagin’.

The title role was earlier played by several actresses like Mouni Roy, Surbhi Jyoti and Adaa Khan. It has run a successful three seasons and is one of the most watched serials on television

She has also begun filming for the serial which is scheduled to go on-air in December on Colors TV.

Nia was recently seen reprising her role of Roshni Patel in the romantic thriller web series ‘Jamai 2.0’ which was a digital sequel to the 2014 serial ‘Jamai Raja.’

She had forayed into the digital space in 2017 with the thriller web series ‘Twisted’ and in its second season, where she played mistress Aliyah Mukherjee.

She had started her acting career in 2010 with ‘Kaali – Ek Agnipariksha’ and later acted in ‘Behenein.’

Nia’s breakthrough role proved to be of Manvi Chaudhary in ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ which earned her several awards.

She had also appeared in the serial ‘Ishq Mein Marjawan’ which aired on Colors TV and recently went off-air due to declining TRP rating.
