Global star Priyanka Chopra has joined a star-studded list of speakers at the 2019 Women in the World Summit. Priyanka will be interviewed on stage by Women in the World founder Tina Brown, will discuss her career as an activist and entrepreneur.
The 36-year-old actress will share the line-up with director Jill Solowayand, Captian Marvel’s Brie Larson, other Hollywood actresses like Ashley Judd and Bryan Cranston with a keynote address from Oprah Winfrey.
Recently, Priyanka Chopra joined the forces with Serena Williams in investing in Bumble dating app and brought the services in India as well. Along with this, the ace actress is currently filming “If I Could Tell You Just One Thing,” is a new YouTube original featuring interviews with women including Diane Von Furstenberg, Awkwafina, and Simone Biles, will premiere on March 27.
The event will be celebrating the 10th anniversary, will be touching upon themes like advancing #MeToo movement, preserving journalism with other progressive topics. Wanda Sykes, Judy Gold, and Amber Ruffin will also take the stage together to talk about working in comedy being women in the midst of today’s political climate.
Women in the World Summit have included the appearances by Hillary Clinton, Nigerian novelist Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, and former Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards.
