Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is set to portray the character of a Gujarati man for his upcoming film Jayeshbhai Jordaar. The actor shared a new poster of his upcoming film on Instagram on April 17.

The poster features Ranveer Singh holding an unborn baby in his hand, with the umbilical cord still intact. He looks uncertain about embracing fatherhood. The quirky drama is set to hit the theatres on May 13.
Ranveer Singh On Playing Gujarati Boy: Jayeshbhai Jordaar
On being asked about playing a Gujarat lad in his upcoming film Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Ranveer Singh says, “I love everything about Gujarat its culture, its vibrancy, its zeal to be the best, and most importantly its people. So, I was really inspired to become a Gujarati boy in Jayeshbhai Jordaar and get the same amount of love from Gujaratis across the world, all over again.”
He further added, “I hope they love the film and love my performance in it. I have given it my all and I know we have a very special film to offer to them.”

Produced by Yash Raj Films, Jayeshbhai Jordaar will feature Arjun Reddy famed Shalini Pandey opposite Ranveer, which marks her Bollywood debut. The film also features Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah in key roles.
The film was earlier slated to clash with Ayushmann Khurrana’s Anek. However, the makers of Anek have shifted the date to May 27.
