Bollywood actress Richa Chadha will soon be seen hosting a comedy show titled “Queens of Comedy” along with AIB’s member Rohan Joshi and comedian Kaneez Surka. The three of them have been roped in to judge a comedy show, which will be aired on the channel TLC, is a talent hunt show for India’s best comedienne.
In August, the team will start shooting the show and the show will go on the floors in September. Sources say, “The idea is to discover more women who can tickle the funny bone, a space that men rule at the moment,”
Rohan Joshi and Comedian Kaneez Surka have earlier worked together now it will be interesting to see what can a capable actress like Richa bring to the hilarious table.
As far as actress Richa is a concern we haven’t seen her doing much comedy on the silver screen. Richa rose the popularity from her role of ‘Bholi Punjaban’ in the comedy movie “Fukrey”, which was directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. In fact, a sequel to the same is currently in the making and Richa will reprise the role in the second installment too. The film is slated to release in December.
