Soni Singh is an Indian television actress. She made her acting debut with the 2004 television show titled “Tumhari Disha”, where she played the character of Rano. Later she appeared in many shows like ‘Banoo Main Teri Dulhann’, ‘Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann’, ‘Teen Bahuraniyaan’, ‘Jhansi Ki Rani’ and ‘Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya.’ She played the lead role in the 2008 show titled “Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann.”
In 2014, when Soni Singh appeared on the popular reality show titled “Big Boss” alongside Upen Patel, says she has since been in touch with the actor and he is like her brother and he is always there whenever she needs his support.
About Upen, Soni said, “People believe that blood bonds are more stronger. But, I have experienced that it’s not important that you need blood-links to enjoy the depth of any relationship. Upen and I met in ‘Bigg Boss’ and since then we are together. He treats me like a sister and is always there for me whenever I need him. He also compares me to his sister who resides in London.”
During the recent Rakshabandhan festival, which will be celebrated on Monday, Soni said, “Rakhi brothers are more special to you because it’s a relation you choose to be in and grow older with. Along with Upen, I have one more Rakhi brother, Sohan Thakur… even he is really special and kind. He always calls me i½Chutki’, and I am blessed to have two Rakhi brothers.” She added, “Like every Rakshabandhan, even this year I’m going to celebrate with them and have fun.”
