Sunny Leone has made a name for herself in the Indian film industry in a short span of time.
She recently received the Gold Award for the Icon of the Year and shared a picture of herself with the award on her Instagram profile.
The former porn star has been hosting the reality show ‘MTV Splitsvilla season 11’ with Ranvijay Singh and has a major television presence.

On the work front, Sunny will be seen in the Tamil historical period film ‘Veeramadevi’, where she will be playing the title character.
The film, directed by Vadivudaiyan and co-starring Navdeep, marks the Tamil film debut of Sunny.
Sunny will be also making her Malayalam film debut with a lead role in ‘Rangeela’, directed by Santhosh Nair.
Her last Hindi film was ‘Arjun Patiala’ where she had a special appearance in the song ‘Crazy Habibi vs Decent Munda.’
She also did an item song ‘Funk Love’ in the comedy film ‘Jhootha Kahi Ka’, which released earlier this year.
Sunny had forayed into Bollywood in 2012 with Pooja Bhatt’s thriller film ‘Jism 2′ after Mahesh Bhatt saw her on ‘Bigg Boss.’
She has appeared in several films like ‘Ragini MMS 2’, ‘Ek Paheli Leela’, ‘Kuch Kuch Locha Hai’ and ‘Mastizaade.’
