After unveiling Saif Ali Khan’s ferocious look as Udaybhan Rathod yesterday, the makers of the upcoming film Tanhaji- The Unsung Warrior have released a series of posters unveiling the first looks of other important characters.

Ajay Devgn took to his social media account to introduce Aurangzeb played by Luke Kenny, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj played by Sharad Kelkar, and Jijamata played by Padmavati Rao.

While there are only a few days left for the launch of the film’s trailer on 19 November, these posters are only adding to the excitement of the fans.

Ajay wrote alongside the poster for Auragzeb, “Aurangzeb Mughal Emperor – Hum mukkamal Hindustan ko fateh karne ka irada rakhte hain… #TanhajiTheUnsungWarrior, in cinemas 10th January 2020. #TanhajiTrailerOnNov19.”

While introducing the character of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Ajay wrote, “Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj – Patthar se thokar toh sab khate hain, patthar ko thokhar maare woh Maratha! #TanhajiTheUnsungWarrior, in cinemas 10th January 2020. #TanhajiTrailerOnNov19”

While sharing the poster of Jijamata, Ajay captioned the post as “Jijamata – “Jab tak Kondhana pe bhagwa nahi lehrata, hum joote nahi pehnenge”

Tanhaji- The Unsung Warrior is based on the life of Tanaji Malusare, an unsung warrior of glorious Indian history and the military leader in the army of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj who was celebrated for his role in the Battle of Sinhagad in 1670 AD.

Ajay Devgn will be seen playing the titular role of Tanhaji whereas Saif Ali Khan will be seen portraying the character of Udaybhan Rathod and Kajol will be seen in the role of Tanaji’s wife Savitri Malusare.

The movie also features Sharad Kelkar, Jagapathi Babu, Devdutta Nage, Pankaj Tripathi, Neha Sharma, Ajinkya Deo, Kailash Waghmare, Hardik Sangani, Luke Kenny, and Vipul Gupta.

The principal photography for the film commenced on 25 September 2018. It was scheduled for a worldwide release on 27 December 2019 but the release date has been pushed forward to 10 January 2020 where it will be clashing with Deepika Padukone starrer and Meghna Gulzar directorial Chhapaak.
