The Great Indian Murder: A Thrilling Whodunit With Unexpected Twists And Plots
Tigmanshu Dhulia’s web series is an adaptation of Vikas Swarup’s famous novel Six Suspects. Vicky Rai, a politician’s son, returns from jail after being acquitted from a rape case. He throws a lavish party as he returns back, where he gets shot dead. Meanwhile, his father Jagannath Rai, featured by Ashutosh Rana loses sleep trying to find his son’s murderer. As a political figure, Rai has tons of enemies over the state and has various suspects in his mind. The two investigating officers team up to solve the murder mystery in the story.
Richa Chadha features Sudha Bharadwaj, a competent police officer of Chhattisgarh and Scam 1992 famed actor Pratik Gandhi plays Suraj Yadav, a CBI officer heading the murder case.
The show wraps up the backstories of the suspects and their connection with the murder case.
The Six Suspects Of The Great Indian Murder
No tears shed at Vicky’s death, truly justifies many had a motive to kill him. As the story moves forward, the suspects are at the suspicious target of the cops. A crook from Delhi slum area Munna becomes the first suspect of the case. Shashank Arora features Munna, the weakest of all six, who wishes to have a better world with his life partner and sister in the city.
The second suspect is a tribal Eketi, who sneaks into the party to look for an idol stolen from his tribe from Andaman. A Bollywood actress, played by Paoli Dam, who had a past score to settle with Vicky and his half-sister, becomes the third suspect. Vicky’s half-sister Rucha also gets targeted as a suspect.
Raghubir Yadav stars as Mohan Kumar, an ex-bureaucrat who is disillusioned to be modern Mahatma Gandhi turns out to be another suspect in the case. The needle of suspicion also points towards the current Chief Minister of the state, a rival of Jagannath Rai.
