Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan are currently shooting for the remake of one of the most memorable 90’s cult classic movies ‘Coolie No.1’. Both the movies are directed by David Dhawan and Varun and Sara will almost be seen identical to Govinda and Karisma Kapoor in this movie.
Varun and Sara have already started shooting some important schedules and songs for the movie and it seems they are having a lot of fun. In a interview recently with Bollywood Hungama, Varun shared some details of his ‘interesting’ chemistry with Sara Ali Khan. Varun said, “Sara is superb and she is a great co-star to work with. She wants to better herself with every scene. We have got interesting chemistry in the movie and it’s lot of fun”.
Varun further said, “Sara is in Sri Lanka currently having some personal time with her friends. She is going to surprise everyone in the songs of this movie”.
Sara had also recently talked about her experience working with Varun Dhawan. She said that is inspired by Varun’s energy on set and especially his dedication for the songs. She had said, “Varun Dhawan is a crazy person and it is such a blast working with him. His energy in songs specially made me really nervous about how am I going to match that?”
Talking about their film, Sara and Varun will reprise the roles of Govinda and Karisma. The role of Karisma’s father which was earlier played by late Kader Khan, is given to Paresh Rawal. Rajpal Yadav and Johnny Lever will also be seen in important roles.
Coolie No. 1 is set to be theatrically released in India on 1 May 2020.
