On Friday, Bollywood actress Vidya Balan says that we should name and shame those people who sexually harass others. She says that only those people can know the pain who have suffered from this only, what exactly does it feels like when you are in a very uncomfortable situation. She gets really angry when someone just rubs or touches you with their hand, She thinks that there are a lot of degrees in the sexual harassment.
However, she feels very good that now people are talking about it. Most of the women are talking about such issues and it is very good that they should talk about it because they are not wrong and it is not their fault. They should not feel bad in naming and shaming those who are sexually harassing others undoubtedly.
During the promotional programme for her upcoming movie title ‘Tumhari Sulu‘, she even discussed the matter of the Harvey Weinstein controversy. After this, there are many cases that led to the disclosure of the sexual harassment in the Hollywood. Not just actress Vidya Balan but there are many actors like Irrfan Khan and Richa Chadha that have opened up about the casting couch in the Hindi film industry.
Vidya Balan attended the launch event of the PVR Big Screen PXL and she attended the event along with the entire team of the movie ‘Tumhari Sulu’ which includes the actress Neha Dhupia and RJ Malishka. Recently the upcoming life drama released the rehashed version of Mr. India’s most famous song titled ‘Hawa Hawai’, which was originally featured on the actress Sridevi.
Vidya says that Sridevi really like the song, After watching the song, Srivedi called her up and said that she is looking very cute in the song and she has found the song very lovely and especially how the all the three of them portrayed it and she is very happy with that. Moreover, she says that she can only reveal this much she does not have so much to say about this and it would be great if you ask to her she can explain it even better. She has got a great response for her upcoming movie and she finds it very difficult to talk about the compliments which she has got from the whole fraternity.
She was always having a problem with this thing and she says that she is little hesitant to express someone’s word. There is someone in the industry and that person has sent her the message personally and she hopes that there would be a quite a few people that will turn up at the screening of the movie and she feels that it would be better if you ask them. However, the response of the movie is great so far and she is very overwhelmed with the response.
She feels that the trailer and the teaser have set the tone right for the movie and the maker’s decision that they will release the songs back to back and this has already created a lot of buzz in the audience related to the movie. The movie’s song ‘Hawa Hawai’ has got a great response and after that makers have released the song ‘Ban Ja Tu Meri Rani’ and recently they have released the song ‘Manva Likes To Fly’ and Vidya says that she personally liked that song because that song is about all of them who wants to fly on wings of their hearts. So far the response of the movie has been fabulous.
The makers of the movie are very much excited release the movie because they have got a fabulous response for the teaser and then for the trailer and they are thinking that they will get an even better response and the movie. They are very excited and they are promoting the movie like anything and they are still not tired at all. She can easily relate to her on-screen character because as an actress she can not participate in the radio contestant.
She says that people know her and they will never be going to give her a gift and sometimes she does feel like calling people she will get mad answers definitely and at times she does feel like calling and participating in the contestant. Moreover, she even spoke about the event, she said that she is a PVR Loyalist and she watches most of the movie in the PVR. She believes that their sound and the picture quality is very fabulous and they have even improved it what it was normal and she feels that it would be an extremely pleasurable experience for anyone watching the movies here.
Vidya Balan’s upcoming movie ‘Tumhari Sulu’ has been directed by Suresh Triveni and produced by Bhushan Kumar under the banners of T-Series and Ellipsis Entertainment. The movie ‘Tumhari Sulu’ is all set to release on November 17, 2017.
