Hrithik Roshan Shares Heartfelt Note As Film Wraps Up

The much-awaited film of the year Vikram Vedha is finally completed. As the film wraps up, Hrithik Roshan shared a heartfelt note.

Sharing the picture, the actor penned down, “As we called it a wrap on set, my mind is flooded with all the happy memories, testing times, action, thrill and hard work we all have put into #VikramVedha. Doing a little excited-nervous dance in my head today.. as we inch closer to our release date. See you at the cinemas.”

Helmed by the director duo Gayatri and Pushkar, the film is a remake of the 2017 Tamil film of the same name. The film features Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles. Apart from the duo, Radhika Apte will be seen in a pivotal role. The film is set to hit the theatres on September 30.

More About ‘Vikram Vedha’

The crime thriller is based on the popular Indian folktale Vikram Aur Betal. Directed by Gayatri and Pushkar, the film follows the story of a tough police officer hunting down a menacing gangster. While Saif Ali Khan will be playing the cop, Hrithik will be seen in gangster avatar.

Talking about Vedha’s character, Hrithik revealed that he wanted a break from the mould of being the hero and step into new territory to play the role. The actor stated, “Becoming Vedha was unlike anything I’ve ever done before. I had to break the mould of being the ‘hero’ and step into completely unexplored territory as an actor. The journey felt like I was graduating.”

“My relentless directors Pushkar and Gayatri kept me on a treadmill, silently motivating me to push boundaries,” he further added.

The Hindi movie is a remake of the 2017 Tamil blockbuster, which starred R. Madhavan as the cop and Vijay Sethupathi as the gangster. The Hindi version of Vikram Vedha is set to hit the theatres on September 30.
