The episode begins with Ishita explaining to Sudha about how she transformed Shardul into Raman; with training and time to learn about everyone, she was able to fool her family that Raman had a plastic surgery. Sudha changed Shardul’s DNA reports by putting Raman’s hair sample for the tests.
Ishita is still worried about Raman’s condition, but Sudha assures her that he’ll recover from coma and wake up soon. Arijit and Shardul are busy in forming a plant to find out Raman’s real location so that Arijit can kill him and get his revenge. Shardul plans to emotionally manipulate Ishita into tell him the information.
At the Bhalla house, he suddenly announces that because everything is going good for the family, he has decided Ruhi and Karan should marry each other. Karan is delighted to hear the news and begins to plan the ceremonies and their honeymoon, while Ruhi is grateful to her father that he’s accepted their relationship.
Ishita enters the room and is perplexed with Shardul’s announcement and immediately feels that Ruhi cannot get married without Raman’s blessings. Sudha arrives and gets the news from Karan; she’s also in objection with Shardul’s decision to announce the wedding. Ishita and Sudha confront him alone, and he gives the excuse of feeling emotionally attached to the Bhalla family.
He can’t see Karan and Ruhi unhappy without each other. Ishita understands his points, but still feels that Raman should be present at any personal celebration of the family. She and Sudha decide to go and visit Raman again as Shardul gloats about the success of his plans.
