‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ is one of the most popular shows on television and is also the longest running show by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms.

But the show will soon be going off-air sometimes in December this year and will be replaced by its spin-off show ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein.’

Recently, its lead actress Divyanka Tripathi had shared a picture with her former co-star Karan Patel on her Instagram profile.

Karan, who played the role of Raman Bhalla, had recently left the show and was replaced by Chaitanya Choudhry.

The picture was taken, according to sources, as the makers are planning to get everyone on the show before they finally wrap up.

It’s spin-off show ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ will feature Abrar Qazi, Sargun Kaur Luthra and Parul Chauhan in major roles.

‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ has been on-air since 3 December 2013 on Star Plus and made Divyanka Tripathi a household name.

The current narrative follows Raman Bhalla who has slipped into coma and the entire family is trying to help him.

The show has been remade into several languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali, Kannada and Sinhala.

It has earned several accolades like the Asian Viewers Television Award for Soap of the Year and Gold Award for Best Show (Popular).
