The episode begins with the while family celebrating Kairav’s birthday belatedly by cutting the cake. Kairav then presents a list of rules to them, and warns against any big fights. He wants them both to love each other unconditionally. Gayo is worried that Vedika’s return could bring trouble to the family again and situation could worsen for Kartik and Kairav’s relationship. Vedika tries to call Kartik but he doesn’t respond.
The family performs a dance to celebrate the festival of lights. Everyone appears happy. Vedika is getting panicked because Kartik isn’t responding to her phone calls. Kartik and Naira share an intimate moment while dancing.
Kartik receives a phone call from Vedika. He hesitates to answer, but Naira urges him to reply to his wife. Kartik is surprised to hear that Vedika wants him to come to hotel Taj Maharaja, which is in Udaipur. Naira is shocked by the information that Vedika has returned from America but hasn’t visited her home, instead staying in a hotel. Kartik doesn’t want to leave the function because he’s afraid Kairav will get upset. Naira is worried that maybe Vedika saw the family celebrating Diwali and got angry. Kartik assures her that Vedika will have to understand the importance of keeping Kairav close to the family. Kairav wants to sleep in his father’s room but Kartik makes an excuse.
Vedika is getting very desperate and wants Kartik’s help immediately.
Tomorrow: Vedika is attacked in her hotel room and tries to get Kartik’s attention by smashing a vase.
