Gamban is going to provide its services for free to players and problem gamblers in West Virginia.  The tie up between the Gamban and the Problem Gambling Help Network of West Virginia, would also allow the citizens to use Gamban’s online gambling blocking software free of cost.

The step has been taken to fight the gambling addiction in the area as the 2019 report by the National Council on Problem Gambling indicates that 1 in 50 people living in West Virginia could have a gambling problem.

The gambling therapy has so far helped over 15,000 people with services like training opportunities, prevention and outreach services, a 24-hour helpline, support groups and retreat weekends.

The service also provides Melissa Etherington, Partnerships Manager at Gamban, said: “I am very pleased to be working with The Problem Gambling Help Network of West Virginia and happy that this partnership will provide an extra resource and layer of protection for those whose gambling has become a problem for them in West Virginia”, as per Gambling Insider.

Jennifer Davis-Walton, Director of Gambling Addiction Services at First Choice Services, added: “It is exciting to partner with Gamban to provide a valuable tool for so many. With more accessibility to online gambling, the benefits of Gamban software are immeasurable for those experiencing gambling problems.”
