ECI appoints actor Rajkummar Rao as National Icon

‘Newton’ actor Rajkummar Rao has been appointed as the National Icon of the Election Commission of India (ECI). The announcement was made by Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar on Thursday, October 26, 2023, ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in five states and the 2024 general elections.
