New Delhi: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday issued a notice regarding the approaching western disturbance which is likely to cause snowfall in Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad; scattered snowfall over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand.

The IMD has predicted that there could be thunderstorms over northern parts of Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh also.
