10 Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Members of Parliament (MPs) have submitted their resignations from their posts, following their victories in the recent state assembly elections held in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh.

Ten Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Members of Parliament (MPs) have submitted their resignations from their posts, following their victories in the recent state assembly elections held in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh. The resignations, submitted on Wednesday, mark a significant shift in the political landscape of the country.

The ten MPs who have stepped down include prominent figures like Union Ministers Narendra Singh Tomar and Prahlad Singh Patel, as well as Rakesh Singh, Uday Pratap, Riti Pathak, Arun Sao, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Diya Kumari, and Kirodi Lal Meena. Two other MPs, Baba Balaknath and Renuka Singh, are expected to resign in the near future.

Prior to submitting their resignations, the MPs met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, sparking speculation about their future roles within the party. Sources have indicated that both Patel and Tomar, who have won seats in the Madhya Pradesh assembly, will likely be resigning from their positions in the Union Cabinet.

While the official reason for the resignations is to focus on their newly elected positions in the state assemblies, the move is seen by many as a strategic step by the BJP to strengthen its hold in these key states. By vacating their seats in Parliament, the party can create opportunities for new candidates, potentially increasing its representation and influence at the national level.

Analysts suggest that this move could also pave the way for a cabinet reshuffle, with the BJP looking to further consolidate its power and address any potential internal dissent. The resignations are likely to trigger a series of political calculations and maneuvers, as the opposition parties prepare to respond to this unexpected development.

With the dust still settling, it remains to be seen how these resignations will ultimately impact the political landscape of India. However, one thing is certain: the coming weeks and months are likely to be marked by significant political activity as the BJP strategizes its next moves and the opposition seeks to capitalize on this unexpected turn of events.
