Modi Cabinet is going to reshuffle, all the preparations have been completed and according to the sources, the final appointments of the posts and its announcement will be done by Sunday, before Narendra Modi leaves to attend the BRICS summit.

The opposition party Congress attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the reshuffle in his cabinet said that if the cabinet is being reshuffled on the basis of work and result orientation, then change in the position of Narendra Modi should also be considered.

Attacking the Prime Minister Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said that if Modi cabinet is being reshuffled on the basis of the work done by the ministers in the past three years. that foremost Narendra Modi’s name should be considered at the first place as his performance has been the weakest. Be it on the issue of maintaining law and order in Jammu and Kashmir or the note ban or on the fact of not fulfilling its promise of providing employment or be it the issues of the farmer’s problem Modi has failed on every front.

Several ministers have submitted their resignations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, amidst the reports of expansion in the Modi Cabinet. In the list of these ministers, now the name of Union Minister of Industry Kalraj Mishra has also been included. Kalraj Mishra’s resignation was being speculated for several days. Today, when the media asked Kalraj Mishra about his resignation, he said, “BJP party national president Amit Shah had told me that I would go and meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. So finally I typed my resignation and handed it to him yesterday.”

The statement of Kalraj Mishra indicates that he will not get the chance to join the Union Cabinet now.

Prior to Kalraj Mishra’s resignation, Bandaru Dattatreya, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Sanjeev Balayan and Fagan Singh Kulaste also gave their resignation. There are reports that two ministers of JDU can also be included in the Modi Cabinet.  JDU Chief Nitish Kumar broke the alliance with RJD last week and formed a government with BJP in the state. It was believed that two close ministers of Nitish Kumar could get a place in Modi cabinet

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar recently broke the grand alliance with RJD-Congress and formed the new government in alliance with BJP. Following this decision the JD(U) chief it is believed that since now JD(U) is a member of the NDA, 2 important seats will be given to JD(U) members.
