Narendra Modi 3 years government achievements

PM Narendra Modi has high agendas set for his 6 day tour to 4 nations starting from 29 May. He plans to get more investment opportunities in India, on account of several reforms undertaken by his government. The external affairs ministry in a press release listed out various business events where Modi will be interacting with top industry captains of these countries.

Modi will be visiting the German Chancellor Angela Merkel on May 29, at her official Meseberg Country Retreat, where the two leaders will be discussing issues of mutual interest. The two leaders will hold the 4th India-Germany Intergovernmental Consultations (IGC) on 30 May, followed by both the leaders addressing a trade event, where top CEOs from both the sides will be present.

According to the ministry, PM will than be hosted by German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. This meeting is likely to prove beneficial as India and Germany enjoy a strategic partnership and this visit will further boost up the special relationship between both the countries.

On 31 May, PM will meet the President of Spain, Mariano Rajoy and discuss bilateral and other issues of mutual interest. He will also visit King Felipe VI of Spain, the very same day. Following to this, PM would also have a round-table interaction with leading Spanish business leaders who are keen to invest in India.

Modi will be than travelling to St Petersburg in Russia on 1 June, where he will hold the 18th India-Russia annual summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin. It will be the first summit in Russia outside Moscow. After the summit Modi plans to participate in the St Petersburg International Economic Forum on 2 June as Guest of Honour.

On 2 & 3 June PM will be in Paris where he will hold official talks with French President Emmanuel Macron, who was elected as French president earlier this month and discuss issues of mutual interest with a view to further strengthen India-France strategic ties.
