The campaigning in the Poll-bound Madhya Pradesh is in the final stages as the voting is just days away. Political Parties are clinching every method to attract voters in the state which has 230 assembly seats. One such aspect of the campaign of national parties is their star power. Following the same tradition, BJP MP from Mathura UP, Hema Malini address an election rally in Madhya Pradesh on Monday, November 19.
Actress turned Political and Former Party General Secretary of the party, Malini campaigned in Salon B Village which comes under Bhander Constituency of the state. The Saffron outfit has nominated their youngest candidate, a 28-year-old Rajni Prajapati from the Bhander constituency in salon B village, where the actress reached through a helicopter.
The Bhander seat is an SC reserved seat, which has been under BJP since 1998, while the saffron party is battling for its fourth consecutive term since the 15 years back in 2003.
Hema Malini who has also been in the upper house of the parliament praised PM Narendra Modi and CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan and said that latter has changed the image of the state. Talking about the Prime Minister, she said that government is running more than 126 schemes for women and poor.
On requesting from local BJP leaders to utter a dialogue from her movie, she chose her famous dialogue from Sholay movie and said “Chal Dhanno Teri Izzat ka sawal hai”
The Assembly elections in the state on all 230 are scheduled to take place on November 28 in a single phase of voting. The counting will take place on December 11.
