Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated various Developmental Projects in Yavatamal District of Maharashtra. The Prime Minister, who had earlier visited Yavatmal in March 2014 and had conducted the ‘Chai pe Charcha’ programme said, he is striving to fulfil the promises to the people day in and day out.

He also asked the people whether they are satisfied with the work he is doing to full all his promises.

One among the projects scheduled for the inauguration is Eklavya Model Residential School at Nanded. The school has a total capacity of 420 students with the state of the art facilities. It will help in improving the quality of education amongst tribal students and also provide an avenue for their overall growth and personal development.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also flag-off ‘Humsafar Express’ Ajni(Nagpur) – Pune train and also lay the foundation stone of roads under the Central Fund(CRF).

Speaking on the Pulwama Terror Attack, PM Modi said, ‘I know that we are all in immense pain after what happened in Pulwama, I understand your anger. Two sons from Maharashtra lost their lives in the attack, their sacrifice won’t go in vain’.

He added, ‘Terror organisations who have committed this crime, no matter how much they try to hide, they will be punished. Security forces have been given full freedom’.

Speaking on the Pradhan Mantri Kissan Samman Nidhi which was announced in this year’s Union Budget, the Prime Minister said that as many as 1.5 crore farmers will be benefitted with the scheme in Maharashtra. He further said in order to conduct research on Sickle Cell Disease, a research centre is being built at Chandrapur in Vidarbha region.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi later in the day is slated to visit Dhule district in the northwestern part of Maharashtra state. During his visit to the district, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of Dhule-Narada Railway Line and Jalgaon – Manmad 3rd Railway Line and will flag off the Bhusaval- Bandra Khandesh Express – an overnight train that will provide direct connectivity between Mumbai and Bhusawal.

PM Modi will also inaugurate the foundation stone of Sulwade Jamphal Kanoli Lift Irrigation Scheme, Dhule City Water Supply Scheme under AMRUT.
