Citing multiple terror attacks on India by Pakistan, Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Tuesday, questioned the Pakistan army chief Qamar Bajwa, after declining Pakistani’s invitation to visit at the ceremony for “Kartarpur Sahib” cross-border.

On the 10th anniversary of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack, India has issued a “stern message” to Pakistan, that states Islamabad is still not showing any “sincerity” about bringing justice to all the perpetrators of the 26/11 terror attack.

Referring to the last week attack in Amritsar, where three people were killed, Singh said, “People were offering prayers in a village and grenades were hurled at them. Is it what is taught by the army? It is cowardliness,” adding, “I would like to ask Pakistan Army Chief Qamar Bajwa something, as a soldier.”

He further stated: “Which army teaches to violate ceasefire and kill jawans on the other side? Which army teaches to send people to attack Pathankot and Amritsar? This is cowardice.”

Singh told Qamar Bajwa, “We believe in peace and we are giving a message of peace from here. But, their generals should understand that we have a large Army and we are prepared … And this should not happen as nobody wants war. We all want to carry out development in a peaceful manner.”

Talking about the attack at the Nirankari Hall with 18 grenade on November 18 in Amritsar, Singh said it has been “made under license by Pakistan licensed factory “.

Foreign minister Sushma Swaraj also rejected the invitation by the Pakistan for the ceremony of Kartarpur road.
