Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath-led State Cabinet that held its meeting on Tuesday approved many welfare decision. Among key decision taken by the CM Yogi Adityanath’s state cabinet include an increase in the pension of the senior citizens and allow microbreweries in the state.

Addressing the presser after the Cabinet meeting, Uttar Pradesh Minister Shrikant Sharma shared the details about the decisions taken at the meeting. He said that the Pension of the Senior citizens has been increased from ₹400 to ₹500 for the citizens’ age between 60-79 years. While the pension of the senior citizens having age more than 79 years is already ₹500.

Shrikant Sharma also said that Cabinet has approved to allow microbreweries in the State. He further added that Cabinet has made necessary amendments in the rules to allow microbreweries. He further added Licence fee has been increased in this now.

While the government has described the cap on the production and only allowed 2.1 Lakh litre production per year.

Speaking further about the decision, Uttar Pradesh Health Minister Siddharth Nath Singh said the construction of AIIMS hospital in Rae Bareli is going on – A Lok Sabha Seat represented by UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi – and will be completed by the year 2020.

Singh said that Cabinet has approved the increase in the age limit of PGI Doctor and is now 37 years instead of 35 years.

Earlier on June 4, Coming back to action mode days after party registered a massive victory in recent national polls, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed all divisional commissioners and municipal commissioners to look after Swachata Abhiyan and directed them to prepare a detailed project report for the AMRUT City Scheme.

In the recently held national polls in the state Uttar Pradesh, BJP bagged 62 seats and with its ally Apna Dal (Sonelal) it took its tally to 64 seats out of the 80 Lok Sabha Seat. While Mahagathbandhan bagged 15 seats – BSP 10 and SP 5 – while Congress only managed to retain its bastion Rae Bareli.
