Confirmation coming in as the Englishmen prepare to take on the proteas where they will play 3 One Day Internationals and 3 T20s next month with no audience and behind closed doors in Paarl and Cape Town.

This series will come under the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League where England has shown pure dominance by topping the league with a massive 30 points from their six games.

This is the first part of the qualification pathway for the proteas as this will be their first game in the league which leads to the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.
Eoin Morgan’s squad, which can be named in early November, will head out on a chartered flight on 16 November, training at Western Province Cricket Club before the three T20Is.

There will be 2 T20s and one ODI and will be marked as intrasquad practice matches.
England has confirmed that they’re going to visit South Africa next month to play three T20Is and three ODIs behind closed doors.

The Chief Executive officer of ECB Mr, Tom Harrison was quite pleased and appreciated the efforts of Cricket South Africa in helping to make the upcoming tour possible for England.

Harrison spoke and appreciated the efforts made Cricket South Africa in ensuring that there are no problems and the tour is to be conducted with ease with proper safety of players and the staff. He also appreciated the efforts of binding together a bio-secure environment in the expected venues. We owe it to the game that we do everything we will to stay international competition progressing during this pandemic.

The series between the proteas and English is always intense and exciting. It has already happened earlier this year and the same kind of match intensity is expected this time around too.

Kugandrie Govender who is the Acting Chief of CSA is quite excited and believes that the current world champions have added enough motivation to conduct the league with ease. The proteas will also look to perform well in front of the current world champions.

He also acknowledged the advantage of having the ability to draw from England’s recent experience in hosting bio-secure international cricket, adding: “We also are very grateful to Britain and Wales Cricket Board for the support they need to give us in many areas and that we are going to be ready to draw on their own experiences and help in organising and running international cricket under bio-secure conditions.
