The Australian Government has approved India vs Australia series. Team India will visit Australia later this year. Indian players who are within the United Arab Emirates for the continued Indian Premier League, will travel from Dubai and complete their mandatory quarantine period in Sydney.
India is scheduled to play four Tests, three One-Day Internationals and as many Twenty20 Internationals in Australia. A three-match ODI series from starting November 27 will get the tour underway. Sydney will be the home for all ODI matches whereas Canberra will host the T20 games. The remaining 2 T20 matches will be played in Sydney.
The first Test, starting on December 17, is going to be a day-night contest which can be played in Adelaide. The iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground will host the boxing day Test, with Adelaide as a backup venue.
The last two Test matches will be hosted by Sydney and Brisbane.
There will be no place for girlfriends or wives to travel along with the team.
The IPL franchises have been given the responsibility by the BCCI to make a decision on whether the wives will be travelling to the UAE or not.
History was created last time when India toured Australia as they initially registered their first-ever test series win.
The four-match Test series between India and Australia was quite impressive as India wrapped up the series 2-1 and then later on managed to win the ODI series as well.
However, in T20, it was Australia who managed to get better of India and won the series 2-0.
