After the defeat of India on Thursday against Sri Lanka, ICC Champions Trophy 2017 has taken an interesting twist. Now, all the four teams in Group B, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and South Africa, have played two matches and won only one.
Now to qualify for the semi- finals, every team has to win their upcoming match. Coming to the Indian side, after Thursday’s match, they are also in the same condition. In the next match on 11th June, they face South Africa. India has to win the match in order to qualify for the semi finals. If rain interferes then the decision will be taken on the basis of net run rate and points of team.
Except England who have qualified for the semi’s, same is the case with the other three teams, Bangladesh, Australia and New Zealand in Group A. It’ll be interesting to see who the other three teams will be to qualify to the next round.
