The coach and captain relation between Anil Kumble and Virat Kohli has experienced a downfall in the past few days. This topic has taken more heat than the India Pakistan battle. Almost every Indian fan is worried about India’s preparation for the big match on Sunday, thanks to the coach-captain split.
But the mirror image of all the rumours was seen in the net practice. Due to bad weather which denied the outdoor net session of the team, most of the top batsmen were seen taking throwdowns at the indoor net sessions.
But the main focus was on the first net, where Kohli was taking throwdown from Kumble. At first, Kohli was doing some conventional knocking. After that, he practiced drives and some square off the wicket shots.
Kumble spent around 20 minutes with Kohli and then went on to the second net where Yuvraj was practicing.
Even if there are some difference between the coach and the captain, the didn’t let it show during the practice sessions. Now that’s some good sportsmanship, ‘work above all’.
Meanwhile, reports have come that the former Indian Captain, Sourav Ganguly did not meet the Indian Cricket team regarding feedback on the coach.
