Few days ago, Shane Warne gave a controversial statement. When he was asked that if would like to be India’s coach, he said,“I am very expensive, I don’t think they can afford me. Virat Kohli and me can have a good partnership, but as I said, I am very, very expensive.”
But a day later, he clarified those statements through his official twitter account saying that the statement regarding Virat Kohli was totally made up and he never said such thing. He also stated this incident as disappointing journalism.
Regarding the statement of BCCI not able to afford him, he wrote,“Indian coaching position. I was in a lift and was asked if I would put my hat in the ring I said “India can’t afford me” tongue in cheek!”

On the other hand, names for post of Indian head coach are, Virender Sehwag, Anil Kumble, former Australian fast bowler and Sunrisers Hyderabad coach Tom Moody, Englishman Richard Pybus, former India cricketers Dodda Ganesh and domestic veteran Lalchand Rajput.
