Moto’s newest lineup of smartphone, the Moto C lineup finally arrives. The Moto C is the Cheapest Android smartphones launched in India priced at just INR 5,999. To make this phone affordable, the OEM has cut through many specs and even compromised with the materials used.

The newest Moto C looks something similar to Android One that was unveiled few years before. This is probably the worst smartphone from a well known brand to launch in 2017. Here are the specifications of the same.

In terms of form factor, the device offers 5 inch screen with Corning Gorilla glass protection, however, the goodness stops there, below the Gorilla Glass, we have FWVGA (854×480) outdated and low resolution screen. Underneath, MTK6737M powers everything paired with 1 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 8 GB onboard storage with dedicated SD card slot, with micro SD card slot upto 32 GB.

The optics on this device just makes us more disappointed, as 5 MP main camera doesn’t support tap to focus or HD video recording capability, the 2 MP front facing camera is just meant for video calls. The Moto C taps in 2350 mAh li-ion battery, that doesn’t support fast charging capability. Finally, the device runs on latest iteration of Android Nougat with a promise of upcoming android update from the company.

This device is a total bargain, if you just go with brand name. Rather than that, go for Redmi 4A or even Redmi 4 to known the value of your hard earned money.
