Blu, the original smartphone maker has launched a new entry-level smartphone Blu S1 in the United States of America. The device offers premium full metal unibody solution with mid-tier specifications. So, here is a complete list of specifications for the Blu S1.

The Blu S1 is equipped with a 5.2-inch HD 720p IPS LCD screen, protected by 2.5D curved tempered glass on the top. Under the hood, the device is powered by MediaTek MT6750 SoC, paired with 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card slot (up to 128 GB) with a single SIM card slot.

With respect to camera capability, the device is incarnated with a 13 MP rear-facing main camera with 1080p video recording capability and a 5 MP front-facing selfie camera with 720p video recording capability. The standard smartphone-centric features like WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, Bluetooth and 4G LTE and VoLte capability are present. Being a budget-oriented smartphone, the company still offers fingerprint scanner embedded into the home button.

In terms of operating system, the device offers Android Nougat 7.0 with custom UI on the top and no information on the Android Oreo upgradability. The device offers a 2800 mAh battery with normal charging capability. So, the device will be available via Amazon for $179.9 dollars (works with the most US network providers except Verizon).
