In an effort to strengthen its presence in India, Facebook is rolling out some new features which are India first. The new features that rolling out in India are mainly to its stories format. The new features are mainly aimed at boosting the usage of its Stories services in India. This all new features will be available first in India which is home to more than 27o million users. The social media giant is launching these new features at a time when it is facing its biggest controversy. The company is also facing increasing scrutiny over the alleged misuse of user data on its platform across the world.

New changes in the Facebook app:

The new features mainly include voice posts and stories archive. Now the social media giant is also providing users the ability to save photos and videos from the Facebook Camera app. Now users can easily save their photos and videos from the camera app while avoiding using up space on their mobile phone. These three new updates are mainly aimed at helping users get better to create and save memories.

The new changes will now allow users to save their photos and videos directly to their account in the Facebook cloud. According to some reports, the new app will allow users to now share their voice messages with their friends. Users can now also archive their favorite Facebook Stories.
