Google has begun to roll out a new beta update for its search app Google App couple of days ago. Despite high expectations from the users following the I/O 2018 announcements. The newer version of the app does not look like it will bring any new features for the users. However, like most of the new beta updates, this also comes with some hints of clues about other upcoming changes.

Since these are beta updates users can sometimes expect some bigger bugs to appear also. This new beta version also includes some bugs that will give users some interesting issues. These issues mainly include blank text on news cards and toggles that will not actually reflect user’s current on or off state properly.

Whats new in the updates of Google App:

Read later services and apps became very important in the early days of smartphones. These services and apps were installed and used by almost everybody. The major apps used by users for this purpose were Read It Later, Instapaper, and hundreds of other apps. Now as the popularity of these services and apps has degraded, it looks like Google may be adding similar functionality to its interface. According to some reports, the Read Later feature will be oriented toward making copies of web pages for offline access

It is most likely that Google may add a new notification that will handle reading and reply to messages. There will be button labels for common operations that will allow users to reply or skip incoming messages.
