A new a new iteration of Honor 9i AKA Honor 7x AKA Huawei Mate 10 Lite, which all shares the similar tech specifications to one another (like almost 90 percent). Once again, a new smartphone has been spotted on the world wide web with the code name Huawei Enjoy 7S.
In terms of design and build quality, the device follows the recent trend with a full metal unibody design. For the starters, the smartphone does look a bit different from the backside, however, the story is an open book from the front-side, as it shares a similar design language as that of the other mid-tier Huawei or Honor smartphones.
To begin with the display, the smartphone packs an all-new 18:9 aspect ratio taller display with HD+ 2160x1080p pixel dense IPS LCD screen. This display is protected by 2.5D curved tempered glass, which gives a premium look and protects the device from day to day scratches. The device will have a 5.69-inch display (like the one found on the Xiaomi Redmi 5). This display will be driven by Huawei’s famous mid-tier processor, the Hisilicon Kirin 659 Octa-core SoC, paired with 4 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 64 GB onboard flash storage.
The smartphone does offer a micro SD card slot (hybrid), which accepts either 2 SIM cards or a SIM and a micro SD card.
The cameras on the phone offer a dual camera setup on the back. The 13 MP RGB shooter with 2 MP depth sensing shooter. One can achieve portrait mode and 1080p video recording video on this camera setup. For the selfie camera, the smartphone offers an 8 MP selfie shooter with AI enabled portrait mode.
The software experience on this device is on par with the other premium smartphones of Huawei, as it runs on EMUI 8.0 based on Android Oreo operating system. Everything on the device runs on a 2900 mAh Li-ion sealed battery with fast charging capability.
