Nubia’s latest offering, the Nubia Z17 Lite is now available in China. As per their portfolio goes, Nubia Z17 Lite is the underpowered version of the Nubia Z17 with mid-tier specifications.

Just like most of the smartphones launched under the Z series, the Z17 Lite features an all metal unibody design with the black and red accent. The device looks premium in all the aspects.

The 5.5-inch display on the Nubia Z17 Lite offers 1080p TFT panel protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Under the hood, Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 paired with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated SD card slot which can accept micro SD cards up to 256 GB.

The device features a dual rear camera setup (13 MP + 13 MP), the monochrome and the RGB sensor can take great photographs even in the low lightening condition. The combination can also record native 4K videos at 30 frames per second. The camera has a slight bump, however, due to the usage of scratch resistance material (Saffire), the cameras will work fine for few years without any aberrations. The device also offers a 16 MP front-facing camera with F/2.0 aperture and 80-degree wide angle lens.

The device is equipped with 3200 mAh Li-ion (non-user replaceable) battery with Qualcomm Quick charge 3.0 capability via USB type C port. The finger print scanner is placed on the rear end of the device, below the camera modules, which has become standard for many of the smartphone brands nowadays.
