As a matter of fact, the only OnePlus smartphone that features original design is the OnePlus 2 (which didn’t do well for the company). After that, most of their smartphone designs were copied (can rather say inspired from) other flagship smartphones from other brands. Here are the complete details on the upcoming OnePlus 5T.

In terms of design and aesthetics, the device is pin to pin match with the original Oppo R11s and Oppo R11s Plus in terms of display, fingerprint scanner, camera placement, and the gorgeous display on the front with very narrow bezels on the top and the bottom.

However, with respect to the tech specifications, the device offers a completely different internals. The Oppo R11s offers a premium mid-tier specifications and the OnePlus 5T is speculated to feature top of the line specifications. So, here are the complete tech specifications of the Oppo R11s, sorry the OnePlus 5T.

The OnePlus 5T features a 6.0-inch FHD+ OLED panel, just like the Oppo R11s. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Quad-core SoC, instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Octa-core on the Oppo R11s, paired with either 6 GB or 8 GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64 GB or 128 GB onboard flash storage without any SD card slot.

Coming to the camera capability, the device has a dual rear-camera setup with a 16 MP wide angle lens and a 20 MP telephoto lens with X1.6 optical zoom and portrait mode with EIS enabled 4K video recording capability. For the selfie camera, the device offers a 16 MP front-facing selfie camera with 1080p video recording capability.

This will be the first OnePlus smartphone to receive Android Oreo update with custom Oxygen UI on the top. In terms of battery capacity, the device is likely to feature a massive 4000 mAh Li-ion battery with fast charging capability (Dash charging) via USB type C port. As the company has already confirmed that, the brand is going to stick with the standard 3.5 mm headphone jack with all the standard features.

However, the device does not offer IP68 rating or wireless charging like most of the flagship smartphone.
