Reliance Jio has changed entire game in India with respect to mobile data, voice and video calls. Before 12 months, people were shelling out at least INR 200 for 1 GB data that too, with lower data transfer speeds.

The 4G only enabled Reliance Jio opened so many opportunities by giving free unlimited data and calling for more than 6 months. Some users like me almost using for a year with either LYF smartphone or Samsung smartphone. Jio not only made their plans cheaper, but even their competitors also came to a stage were they had to bring on their game to survive this storm, so, network providers charging INR 250 per GB data stated giving 90 days unlimited data for just INR 400.

Recent statistics from Open signal confirms that, India is the top fifth country to offer best LTE or 4G mobile network around the globe. South Korea remains at the first position with 96.38% of LTE network availability abound the country backed by Japan, Norway and United states of America at 2nd, 3rd and 4th position.

India has a coverage of 81.56% of LTE network, just because of one prominent player AKA Reliance Jio. Though the data plans feels cheap and affordable as of now, we have to wait and watch what happens after Jio Prime membership expires. Though there is still prominent number of 2G and 3G usage, thats because of mobile handset incapability.
