Vodafone has launched a plan for its new 4G prepaid customers of worth ₹244. Under First Recharge Coupon (FRC), the operator will give users 1GB data per day for 70 days. It will provide unlimited local and STD calls within Vodafone network as well. The offer is exclusively available for the new Vodafone customers and has been rolled out in selected regions only, and tariff may vary.
The First Recharge Coupon (FRC) is a one-time offer. In case, a person wants to go for a second recharge, the validity will change from 70 days to 35 days.
The move is taken in order to compete with the Jio’s new Dhan Dhana Dhan plans for postpaid and prepaid users. The Jio’s new ₹349 plan offers 20 GB 4G data with the validity of 56 days. The ₹399 plan gives users 1GB data per day for 84 days.
A few days before, Vodafone unveils its SuperDay and SuperWeek plan starting at ₹19. The ₹19 plan is only available for 4G users, and it gives unlimited local and STD calls on the Vodafone network along with 100 MB data per day. While the ₹49 plan offers 250MB of 4G data daily for seven days with same incentives as that of the ₹19 plan.
Recently, the deal has been signed between Idea and Vodafone to combinedly become India’s largest telecom operator company.
