On October 13th, Fortnite Season 10 officially ended. As the Season 10 ended, players couldn’t do anything when they logged in to Fortnite as there was just a black hole ahead of Chapter 2. Ever since the new Chapter began, Epic Games has been very silent when releasing updates. Last week, Fortnite received update v11.20. And now once again, Epic has remained quiet and released the v11.21 update today.
Epic Games announced that the Fortnite v11.21 update would be released today with downtime starting at 4 AM ET. Check out the unofficial patch notes below:
v11.21 Fortnite Patch Notes:
Bug fixes:
General:
- Show FPS option missing from settings in BR/Creative
Battle Royale:
- Refund token count displaying incorrectly
Creative:
- Reports of controller input delay for certain actions
- “We have addressed this issue in patch v11.21 and will address it further in our next release.”
- Workarounds: restart the Creative game or open/close the menu.
- Map Marker rotation axis is offset when rotating with Phone tool
Mobile:
- FPS drops and hitching on Mobile
However, this isn’t the major holiday update, players have been waiting for. The next Fortnite update which will be the v11.30 patch will bring the Christmas challenges, rewards, new features, and the in-game live even, Epic mentioned in a blog post.
