Buenos Aries, August 7: Embattled Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro on Wednesday he has shreds of evidence that can prove White House national security advisor (NSA), John Bolton, had masterminded the 2018 assault attempt against the latter.

“A year passed since the attempted assassination. I can say today that I have evidence, proving that the attempted assassination was committed at the instruction of John Bolton from the White House … Everything is leading to John Bolton, who has a criminal way of thinking, a mindset of a murderer … I cannot accuse [US] President [Donald] Trump at the moment but I have all the reasons to ask for an investigation into [the activities] of John Bolton,” Maduro told American journalist Max Blumenthal which was broadcast by state-run television.

In August 2018, a military motorcade in the Venezuelan capital of Caracas, which Maduro had attended, was hindered by what the specialists called was a death endeavor on the life of the president.

Later Caracas said a few automatons exploded near the presidential box during Maduro’s address. The president was safe, yet seven officers supported wounds.

Maduro blamed the supposed assault of the Venezuelan conservative opposition, as well as, the United States and the government of Colombia.
