The United States on Friday criticizes two terrorist attacks in Pakistan with a saying that the US will continue to grasps the opportunity to turn down the terrorists attack in Pakistan and will always look forward to co-operating with Islamabad countering regional threats.
Near the Chinese embassy in Karachi, three terrorists opened fire with a hand grenade, due to which four citizens were shot dead before the attackers were turned down by security forces. After few hours, attackers attacked on a marketplace in Pakistan’s northwestern tribal region of Orakzai, which resulted in 32 lives.
State department spokesperson Heather Nauret said, “The United States stands with the Pakistani people in the face of these terrorist acts, and will continue to seek opportunities to cooperate with the Pakistani government to combat these threats in the region.”
Nauret said the US strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in a different region- Karachi and Orakzi, Pakistan, which has resulted in over 30 people lives death and dozens of injured.
She further said, “We send our deepest condolences to the victims’ families and wish for the speedy recovery of those injured.” In fact, the US also praised Pakistani’s security forces, who prevented many lives. Sohai Aziz, the Pakistani ASP, who led the first operation against terrorists, has gained a worldwide appreciation and has been promoted to the rank of SP. She has also been recommended for Quid-e-Azam police medal, she will be the first women police officer to get the highest honor given to a police personnel.
