Beijing, May 30: Chinese vice minister of foreign affairs Zhang Hanhui has on Thursday said Russia and China are slated to ink some 30 bilateral agreements in several sectors, including two political deal, during Chinese President Xi Jinping’s upcoming official visit to Moscow.

During a media briefing, the Chinese minister said, “During the visit, around 30 agreements will be signed. Apart from two political agreements, other agreements concern trade and economic areas, energy, investment, and other areas.”

The Russia-China Investment Fund (RCIF) and Beijing’s Dazheng Investment Group and Suiyong Capital have launched a Chinese-Russian yuan fund and already began to create possible projects, according to a statement by the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).

According to Sputnik news reports, the Chinese president is all set to pay an official visit to Moscow scheduled on June 5 to June 7. The leader is also likely expected to address the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

The SPIEF which is organized annually in the Russian second largest province of St. Petersburg, is one of the major global platforms which is specified for communication between the corporate special representatives, as well as, for the discussions aimed at resolving major economic issues.
